Yellow card
I love waking up on the Norfolk Broads, the only sounds we could hear this morning were the ducks on the river waiting for bread and the sheep in the field.
The weather forecast wasn’t great for today, we had several heavy showers once we had set off from our mooring. Part way through the afternoon the fuse went in the windscreen wiper, we had to call the engineer out to replace the wiper motor. He arranged to meet us at tonight’s mooring and sorted it really quickly.
My photo is one of our fellow boaters getting a yellow card from the ranger. They had moored in an area reserved for yachts to lower their masts to pass under a low bridge. The ranger agreed they could stop until morning but were to move on at sunrise!! If they offend again it will be a red card and their holiday would be terminated. This is the first time we’ve ever seen this happen.
