The importance of being careful

I was using my electric hedge strimmer today as part of a thorough tidying up at the front of our house.. Unfortunately I nicked the cable, which brought the strimming to an abrupt end. This is not the first time I have done this. To nick the cable once may be regarded as misfortune. To have done so a second time smacks of carelessness. Still, we managed to fill the garden refuse bag and, as the second photo shows, it's loaded in the car ready for a trip to the tip tomorrow.
