The Pirates Graveyard, Cromarty

I set off for home early, so as to have time to explore the village of Cromarty, on the Black Isle.

What an enjoyable morning!
The highlight was coming upon the St Regulus Graveyard. It's also known as the Pirates Graveyard because almost all the gravestones bear skull and crossbones.

My blip is of one of the oldest stones commemorating Jo Swan who died in 1675.
