Lightening Rod

A fun wee visit to the Museum of Communication in Burntisland, a wee stop off in the park, and a game of Crazy Golf in Dunfermline today.

Lots of fun stuff at the museum to play with.  I liked that we could have a go at sending and receiving morse, and the old fashioned telephone exchange with the workings exposed so you could watch them move as you used dial telephones to call and talk.  I also met a volunteer at the museum who was a  lecturer at Edinburgh University when I was a student there.  I knew of him but I don't think he ever taught me.  We knew a lot of the same people as I worked with various uni-related companies after graduating.
