Arran ferry (Caledonian Isles)

passing Horse Island out of Ardrossan Harbour with 1000 foot high Ailsa Craig (Paddy's Milestone) in distance.
We had a nice run down to kent haunts on Ayrshire coast avoiding the tourist towns with morning coffee Ardrossan beach and late lunch in Dundonald (Eden Garden centre restaurant) and home via weel kent back roads Gatehead, Kilmaurs, Stewarton, Dunlop, Lugton, Howwood all familiar territory for us.
