Geranium - Frank Headley

This geranium continues to delight!
As part of the  Queen's funeral various people were interviewed including Lady Glenconner about her part in the Queen's coronation as one of the Maids of Honour. I was reminded of her book "Lady in Waiting".  I saw the author interviewed on Graham Norton about her life as a Lady in Waiting to Princess Margaret and she was very entertaining. I bought the book on my kindle and devoured it in about 4 days. A real insight into her childhood (the Royals at Sandringham were neighbours to their Norfolk estate), her married life (a husband with mood swings that have to be read about to be believed), her official role and friendship with Princess Margaret and life on Mustique. Truly fascinating.
