Apples and Pears

I caught the tail end of Gardeners' World last night and Monty told me that a job for this weekend was to harvest pears.  So I did just that this morning, along with a few Cox's Orange Pippin apples, and this is the resulting harvest.  I had two pears for lunch which would never pass muster in a supermarket but which were delicious!
