Circus Juventas 2013

A body at rest tends to stay at rest. A body in motion moves forth. A body performing the physical arts lifts spirits and saturates the heart.

If you think that most young children these days prefer a sofa and an X-Box to performance activities, visiting the 2013 edition of Circus Juventus will set your mind straight. Bonnie and I arrived back in Minnesota from LA just in time to see Gabriella's first night of performance at the spring exhibition of this legendary performance school. As tired as we were from our travels, meetings and late nights in LA, we did not want this performance to end. But we have three more performances this week to take it all in and engrain it in our hearts.

When Gabriella arrived home, she danced lightly on the thin air that held her afloat and she kept repeating, "Mom and Dad, this was a very special day."

I am home with my girls and pups in my life for the weekend and I have no travel scheduled for next week. It is the weekend and time for all of us to say...ahhhhhh!
