Stretch

There were lots of Goosander on the river by the nature reserve, I saw eleven in that short stretch. Also: Mandarin, Mallard and Grey Heron. 

Intermittent sunshine brought out a few butterflies, mainly Red Admiral on the ivy, but also Speckled Wood and Small White.

The river is very low for the time of year.
