More thermal fuse woes. In this case it's that wee black square with a pair of leads. Pulled it out of a pocket in the primary coil of the transformer, just to see what the temperature rating was. Suspect it just blew when I turned, or attempted to turn, a Pure DAB radio on. Could have been weakened at the manufacture stage, as it had been soldered into the transformer of the power supply. Soldering the connections (i.e. heating the leads up to about double the fuse temperature rating), is liable to blow or weaken the fuse, unless great care is taken to divert the heat away from fuse part. The other thermal fuses recently Blipped had been crimped rather than soldered, to avoid such risks.
