Work gloves

I went down the stairs to get the weed whacker, and G had the gloves that he used for painting propped up against the wall on broom handles to dry. I laughed when I saw them.
Had a good walk down the road and through the forest by our house. Cooler this morning, perfect for a brisk walk. When I got home, I decided to weed whack the garden, hopefully for the last time this year. There wasn't too much to weed whack, mostly around the veggie beds and the part of the yard that gets more shade. I had just finished raking and sweeping and it started to rain. Rain - ha! It lasted for less than a minute. G went golfing, and there was very little rain up at the golf course.
Extra: I was taking some photos of our garden this morning to send to a friend and thought I'd include one here. I can't believe how many flowers and veggies are still growing. I've taken out most of the tomatoes and all the beets, and the lettuce isn't going to last much longer. I am ready to wind the garden down, but it doesn't seem like the garden's ready to stop producing! No complaints, it's great to have fresh veggies. The patio stones are slightly wet from the minimal amount of rain.
