A busy day

I Q sewing group meeting today. All action with the AGM, the Pat testing of our sewing machines and other electrical equipment and the presentation of a cheque to a representative from Cancer Research UK, the proceeds from our charity table. We did manage a little sewing and a lot of chat.

I’m still tired after Wednesday’s outing, so had a nap before dinner, which had to be early as we were planning to watch the Astro-Chat from Lincoln School of Mathematics. The subject was the James Webb Space Telescope. We were all ready to start when B fell in the hallway whilst bringing through a cup of coffee. He slipped on something and landed on his back, with coffee up the wall, over the floor and down his tee shirt!!!

He wasn’t injured fortunately, just shaken. We got cleaned up and saw the later part of the presentation which was excellent. We will get the chance to see it all the way through tomorrow.
