Langside ...

... is a residential area on the southside of Glasgow. 
This photo shows (from the left) construction of flats in the grounds of the Old Victoria Infirmary. Immediately right you can just see the new Victoria hospital.  The building on the hill is the old Langside College built in 1867 with its replacement further right. 
In the middle, the building with the octagonal turret was a tram stop and shelter and is now a popular Italian restaurant. Finally, on the right is a typical Glasgow tenement showing how it stylishly turns a corner with the bay windows and a little cone hat!
Took a walk round the area today in lovely sunshine.
