Hazelnut constellation

Blessed Equinox one and all!

I've had a lovely, cosy, autumnal day. Whilst working from home and watching the soft rainfall, I have been drying hazelnuts that should now keep upwards of a year, roasting sweet potatoes for our (by now) traditional Equinox Sweet Potato Pie, and have been for a little potter down the road to give blood, which I always find to be a curiously relaxing experience.

Soon time to tuck into dinner, then spend the evening with a real cosy feeling, candles, possibly singing, and then a warm bed.
