Spring box

Fabulous and fun day in the Film Studios in Cheltenham for last Uni assignment for #1 daughter doing Interior Design but not without problems...

The model dropped out but Tam got another at the last minute and then the photographer likewise.... but she landed on her feet with a better one! Got to give Hubs a massive pat on the back for the setting which in all honesty was stupendous being a massive birdbox carried on a car transporter in bits and screwed together in an hour and a half on set.

So we are all there with .. lights, camera, action....... we have all done our bit ..costume, make up, hair, lighting........da da dah.......BUT ..the smoke machine for the moody lighting triggered the alarms for the whole building, going off FULL belt!!!!!!!! We were all blissfully unaware of this because my ipod and Bose were keeping us in the mood. However everyone else in the entire building is outside on a fire drill. We got this slightly irate woman marching in saying, 'Have you got anything here that could possibly have done that?' Hmmmm....:( Let me think.... !

Then we've got those little finishing touches..straw, twigs, branches, moss and feathers .... pillowcases full of them with a fan!!!!!..... OMG. Tam did ask her model if she was allergic to feathers because I am and didn't want this poor girl to suffer.The eggs (from on the lawn) am pleased to say worked well and when you walked into the set you just had to say, 'Wow'!

Afraid we all went to the pub afterwards! I say afterwards but you can't begin to imagine how far feathers and leaves travel and how long it takes to clear them up! No need to say I loved my day and no need to say how impressed I was when it all came together.

I do have an awesome daughter!
