Little Red Flower

This little red flower is part of an arrangement in a planter by my front door. It was a gift from my son-in-law for Mother's Day. 
Fall came in with a huge weather change. The wind is blowing and the temperature has dropped. 
I am signed up to join my daughter in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics tomorrow morning. The weather forecast is for chilly temps at the time of the run/walk.
