Birthday Treat

In June this year Mr MD reached the grand age of 80 years.  His main present was a trip on the Settle/Carlisle Railway and today was the day.   We travelled first class (absolute luxury - our coach 'Sapphire' is my extra) and dined on both outward and return journeys.  Here he is enjoying a wee dram - what else.   We had heavy rain in Carlisle but we were well prepared so it didn't matter.   A most enjoyable day out.
