Crathes to Banchory

In glorious weather our walking group headed to this beautiful part of Aberdeenshire. Our elder daughter got married at Milton of Crathes about 14 years ago so it was lovely to revisit. 
 Also I’d been struggling to find a good book to listen to.  My walking friend suggested I try ‘And Finally’ by  neurosurgeon Henry Marsh.  I’d read his previous two books and watched him on a zoom interview with Will Self.  When I came home I downloaded it and have been happy since, listening to his mellifluous voice and quiet, yet funny, wisdom.
