Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

One blipper blipping!

Managed to get myself up and out earlyish today in spite of the rain. I was heading to see blipper Nadine Pierce in NMB, on a dual Misson -  to pick up some  Pentland Aromatics goodies and to go to the Antique Barn at Whitmuir.
I arrived in the middle of a downpour and just ahead of a large lorry trying to negotiate a right angle bend to deliver a pallet of supplies to said blipper.
After a sniffing and shopping session, and a cup of tea, we headed off in Evita her Electric Vehicle!
We arrived at Whitmuir to find the antique shop closed but the cafe open... so we had lunch, as one does.
Out into the delightful  Quercus garden centre next, scene of my blip as Nadine focussed in on a bee and I paid attention to the beautiful Red Admiral ( in my extra) which posed (and peed) for us. I bought a rather lovely and very healthy alpine clematis so it's home and waiting for the perfect spot in the garden.
I did some shopping for A &  S on the way home again, including an extremely large rainbow coloured number 1 balloon. Josie's 1st birthday is tomorrow, a year of delight already. It's Isobel's birthday today, so I bought a number 6 balloon for her.
We went down to see Isobel this afternoon, she was so excited and loved her balloon. I shared some of her chocolate birthday cupcakes and am now feeling very full.
