I love how nature has decorated this little berberis bush with golden crispy leaves. And there are more on it now since I took the photo. Froze the batch of tomato and leek soup this morning and cooked the big bucketful of apple fallings. Helped Mr I trim the ash tree - one big branch cut down, the other two tomorrow. It’s a quick grower - they’ll be back by this time next year.
