Late sun

We started out with rain and ended with sun, and it was quite warm. The last of the sun was catching the willow tree whose leaves seem to be shrivelling up and falling rather than do a proper autumn colour change.
It was a busy day.
I woke in the night and took ages getting back to sleep but did remember I'd forgotten to take the cafe soup out of the freezer. Fortunately I still remembered in the morning so went a bit early to get it defrosting before I went to the Health Walk and it was fine.
Cafe was steady but last customers came quite early so we were able to get away promptly, then off to son's to deliver his birthday present and see the family.
Home again, pics and a cuppa in the garden and then cooking while Mr Rat went for a run with a friend.
Knee improved again so must take it gently over the next few days.
