Marram Grass and Rickety Fence

I went to Dawlish Warren this afternoon. I took a long lens and timed my visit for the oncoming tide. I was going to the bird hide that looks out onto the Exe estuary. It's a long walk around the sand spit to get there and once round I found I couldn't get to the hide. Every way I went it was fenced off except for the river side and I didn't have wellies. When I got back to the visitor centre there was a sign on the board that said the pathway was closed due to storm damage. Huh!

Anyway after taking a few shots of gulls on the sea shore I reverted to my comfort zone and took some shots of marram grass and rickety fences.
