Purity

I think I ran out of gas after my weekend away, closely followed by my excitement yesterday. 

I guess we all need a quiet day from time to time. 

I had to stick around the house all morning anyway, waiting for a phone call. I used part of the time to make a tomato sauce to go with some spaghetti for dinner. 

It turned out very well, and I have plenty left to freeze or re-purpose for another meal in the coming days. 

And of course I have basil in the greenhouse to add a wee flourish when serving.
