Wadding

Our neighbours are a lovely young couple who have moved to Galway from Waterford, taking up residence in their part of the house just a few days before we moved in.  So we're all settling in together.

A few days ago, we took in a parcel for them, driving home to us the fact that they currently have no transport - they're buying a car.  So we offered transport if they wanted to go shopping.

They have invited us to a baby shower and gender reveal on Saturday - a great opportunity for me to have some crafting fun.  I needed wadding and other supplies, so today I dropped our neighbour and her sister to Home Store + More, and went to a craft shop.  

We all got everything we needed - I also found a large veg shop where I can get veggies without so much plastic.

And I've spent the afternoon very pleasurably, piecing a small quilt top.  More to do tomorrow - will I finish it by Saturday morning?
