An old Fire Station!

This is another lot of Dunlop that I sorted out to make a Fire Station, without the original instructions. This Duplo is at least twenty years old but still serviceable. The light and sound on the fire engine still work, even though it could do with a new battery to make it brighter and louder. A similar fire engine and no fire station in a smaller set  to buy new is about £25 even from Amazon! So if and when I advertise this I think £10 would be about right. Still lots more to sort.

A busy day doing lots of admin plus returning some things to John Lewis and picking up twins from school.

Last night I went to Richmond Theatre to see the play ‘Doctor’ which is opening in the West End next week. It was on previously in the West End in 2019 and Juliet Stevenson played the main character…the doctor…and won lots of awards for her role. So we were very disappointed that she was ill and someone else took her part. Although this actor  knew the words she seemed nervous at the start and her performance was rather monotonous and lacked real flair.
