sunflower drive-by !

although most of the sunflowers have now gone over there are still some fields full of younger flowers.  We did stop to take some photos of them  by the roadside yesterday but today were in more of a rush so took these as we sped by.  We were driving to Caen for a ferry but were sent on a rather long diversion around Tours as part of the motorway was closed.  Luckily we'd left plenty of time but it meant no time to stop for flowers.
