"Tell them I came, and no one answered...."

I was reminded of these words from Walter de la Mare's poem "The Traveller" when I saw little Perdie waiting expectantly outside the Black Cat Cafe this morning.  Sadly it has closed for various, complicated reasons (not to do with trading - they were doing really well) and it's hard to explain to doggies that they can't go in any more.  The town is hoping it will be able to reopen in the future.
