Back in time

Green Gym at Bradwell Abbey today (City Discovery Centre)
Has remains of Medieval Benedictine Priory and it so good nowadays to see this building without the scaffolding it had for years.
Always a pleasure to work there and we were tidying up a hedgerow by one of the woodchipped paths. 
Had a haircut this afternoon and then bought some preordered red wool from the market so I can make some more hats for the babies at the maternity unit.
Then was a bit naughty and sent off for some bright floral leather ankle boots.  The nearest place to stock them is Northampton so I didn't mind having to pay postage (cheaper than the petrol)
Booked in my next haircut and the one before Christmas.  Only two haircuts away from Christmas folks!
