Nuke that pain

Suhur in my office went out to Boots for me today to get some nurofen for my back and came back with the nuclear option.   I don’t like taking too strong painkillers so I wasn’t going to take one but did and it certainly helped. 
I had lunch with Hilary M and caught up with her news after a long time not seeing each other.  She’s somehow always plugged into gossip better than me - I think it’s because she’s proactive and asks the probing questions.  
Met with an interesting director and home not too late.  The most painful part of the day was trying to get up to get off the train with dignity..I couldn’t really go via the customary half crouch and it was agony!
