Beaches

We awoke to driving rain and as we were walking around the northern most tip of the island, discussions were had about wind , but we decided to brave it- dressed appropriately. A great decision as we had a wonderful bracing and mostly dry walk from Eòropaidh beach to the Butt of Lewis , butt of a few butt jokes, with lunch at the lighthouse . Then on to Port Nis via Dun Eistean fort, with sightings of seals
Then onto Commun Eachdraidh Nis- a tearoom/ museum/ shop for a welcome warm drink and cake ! 21000 steps 8 miles.
