Pottery ‚lab‘

I was able to use the whole room by myself and try out that frustrating business of centering a piece of clay on that wheel.
Succeeded only once but I loved the quiet hours of working there, mostly listening to my book on tape by Daniel Speck.
The process of glazing the pieces is another reason for joy.
The book ( on audible) is called Jaffa Road for the German version. But it is translated too. It is about the state of Israel and the loss of Palestina. Very gripping, with some real life stories mingled in.
