Chomp, chomp!

A quick wander in the woods before the weather changed.  I was busy this morning but managed to find my Blip.  There were a couple more of this variety nearby, but this was the most interesting.  The others were still complete.  I first noticed the frayed end pattern and then the 'monster' having a tasty morsel.
Autumn is nearer today the weather this morning was reasonable, but not so this afternoon and rain is in the air.  More rain and wind expected.
That's me all vaccinated -just had my flu vaccination this afternoon.  What will tomorrow bring?  I know I have to get my camera repaired so I could be using and point and shoot Sony.  Nothing wrong with it unless the sun shines (ha, ha) and I can't see what's on the screen!
