Not My Cat
Not my cat had a bit of a lie down and and twirl around. He thought this much more relaxing that watching the Queen's funeral.
Jess and Jack got home around 3.30 and did have an amazing time away despite the weather. It occurred to me that at my age I've been to lots of weddings so sort of know the format and what to expect. The girls haven't been to any. So for Jessica this was her first experience of a wedding. I just hope she understands you can do them slightly differently , like in this country and maybe over a very long day rather than over 5.
I drove home about 4.30 - but ended up having to take a detour as the M4 towards Windsor was shut due to the Queen being taken that way earlier I assume. Anyway felt quite pleased with myself that I managed to get to the M3 instead. Obviously had the satnav! but lots of it I remembered from another detour in reverse I'd done a while back.
Home for a lovely tea and we watched a really nice film instead of all the funeral stuff. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pell Pie Society. Even Rob enjoyed it!
