Reg the stalker

Reg is very used to pheasants in the garden and his chasing is mostly half-hearted these days! The large birds that come into the garden know there will be seeds on the ground under the crate, where the little birds feed in peace, not chased off by the big ones. Reg sits and watches usually not bothering to move, just every now has some fun with them.
It's been a difficult few days with mum. She received a large electricity bill which is obviously incorrect. Where she lives they have two readings one which is just for heating. She hasn't even had the heating switched on since April and this part is huge, the other part is correct. Unfortunately it arrived on Friday so it couldn't be dealt with until yesterday. Her key worker where she lives is contacting them but as it's normally paid by direct debit mum is all for rushing to the bank to cancel it. Added to this she is not well and has had severe back the last couple of days. She won't go on the doctors list because she says he'll just give her another tablet to take!  The carer yesterday wanted to ring 111 but mum said no because she has an appointment with a mouth specialist on Wednesday which she is desperate to attend. My DIL is taking her to that appointment and if the back is still bad I hope she'll take her to the walk in centre. I'm hoping things will be a little more sorted and calmer in the next few days.
