A grand day out

Loving this retired life! A wee trip to the capital to have lunch with an old school friend whom I haven’t seen since just before the first lockdown. 

Then a return to the big smoke to have dinner and a catch-up with an ex-colleague. 

The photo is my only shot of the day and grabbed quickly as I headed back to Waverley station. I liked the sun picking out the gilded lamp with all the work on the North Bridge in the background.
