A line of autumn

I think I'm a week adrift with Tiny Tuesday's challenge - thank you MaryElizaR for hosting. I spotted these leaves against the back wall when we came  home this afternoon following a trip to Pallant House in Chichester. We went to see the  Glyn Philpott exhibition, evidently his last major exhibition was almost 40 years ago at the National Portrait Gallery, and in the exhibition narrative it was felt that his work was due for a reappraisal. I had never heard of this amazing artist and his portraits were so beautiful,  bold and sensitive and to my eye really modern. His work is definitely on my radar now!
