Grey Heron

The young one was waiting on the viewing platform this morning. She quickly jumped into the water for a feed and was joined by the older female. The gull and two crows were also there. After feeding the bottom end I made my way to the mid point and fed the two males who were waiting there. It was school run so no pm visit.
I have been working on getting them back onto pollock as the offer on Sardines is no longer available. I may be able to get a delivery from an on-line company but I will not be able to get anything locally. I have about 5 kilos of sardines in my freezer but that won't last very long so it is best to get them back on pollock.
