Abigail’s tyre

In July 2019 I acquired this large tractor tyre from a farmer friend , lovingly painted it purple and filled it with fine soil and Abigail, our Texan granddaughter, had a wonderful time playing in it - water was added and much mud created !

She has not been back to Scotland since so each year we sow wild flower seeds in the tyre and the bees benefit - they were out in force today in the warm sunshine.

The good news is that Abigail along with G and M are coming for a week in October- no air con will be needed here !
