Cooler, and windy.  Rather lovely and the air still fresh from yesterday's rain.

I was able to watch the Windsor part of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral as it coincided with the time zone here.  It was quite moving; the lone piper (bagpipes get me every time), the corgis and pony...  And the pallbearers, I have to admit to holding my breath at the final steps to the chapel.


The extraordinary choreography throughout these last 10 days was flawless.
