A sombre day

It was far too early, our time, to watch the Queen's funeral live, and it was a regular work day also.
We watched it tonight which enabled us to fast forward through a lot of it, and I will admit to fighting back a tear a couple of times.
We've heard several neighbours asking "why so much fuss?",and "enough already."
I can only say, "to those who understand, no explanation is necessary, to those who don't, no explanation is possible."

Ah well...
