Saying Farewell
It’s been an emotional day. I’ve been glued to the TV since early this morning and am so grateful that I have been home to watch the Queen’s funeral. 70 years of service to the country she loved so much. I’ve loved hearing so many reminiscences from her life, especially giving testament to her deep Christian faith - a faith I also share.
These are just a few of my favourite scenes - there could have been SO many more!
Two of her corgis - Sandy & Mick - were brought out by someone from the household staff. And Emma, her horse, was also there to say goodbye. It was only a few months ago that the Queen was seen riding in the park. Her two great passions were horses and dogs.
I’m still catching up on my Isle of Wight blips. I’ll go back and fill in later. I posted some earlier today. Scroll back if you’d like to!
