Weird day

Today should have been full of happiness at going on holiday but it was a day full of reflection and grief with the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. We had to listen to the service from Westminster on the radio whilst travelling to Norfolk. It was hard to visualise the service but the music and readings were stirring.
A subdued first evening playing cards on the boat after a walk around the village. Onwards with the holiday proper tomorrow.
