Nerine

I noticed a bud a couple of days ago and this is what I found when I went to check today, the bulbs were planted 2 or 3 years ago, this is the first flower.
I did a few jobs arounf house and garden but stopped to watch the Queen's funeral and the procession to Hyde Park. The service was very fitting and the Archbishop's sermon just right.
I didn't intend to watch a lot more but found it the procession was quite hypnotising and very dignified, and the crowds were so respectful.
I hope the King and all the family now get a chance to grieve in private.

This evening we had our usual group run, plenty of talk about the funeral.
