Shoes

Do you think they all went home and thought, "Thank goodness that's over and we can take our shoes off and get a takeaway pizza" ? I know it's a different life to that which all of us lead but that doesn't mean they aren't human. 

I wasn't intending on watching much of today, but found it completely mesmerising. Such choreography, such precision, such ceremony. Those pall bearers all deserve medals.

A day we shall never forget.
