Sleep, dearie, sleep

The Queen's Piper, Warrant Officer Class 1 (Pipe Major) Paul Burns, plays ‘Sleep, dearie, sleep’ at Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in Westminster Abbey today. It was one of many moments I found moving. The last State Funeral I witnessed was that of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965. I don’t remember much about it but this one I shall remember for as long as I have a memory.
