We stayed in and watched the Queen’s funeral on TV this morning but this afternoon we walked down to the petrol station to buy a newspaper as it’s our youngest granddaughter’s first Birthday today and we also bought one the day she was born. We decided to carry on down Buck Lane and across the River Aire to walk along the Leeds/Liverpool canal. It was good to get some fresh air and nice that it was quite pleasant out as it had poured down all morning.
