Flying bee

Another garden shot, this time of a male carder bee in flight. I'd have preferred to have him slightly angled towards me, but no matter how many times I quietly sneaked up on him, he insisted on flying off in the other direction, the little devil.  :-)

I'm most definitely on the mend, the kidney pain is now largely just a bit of a dull ache  and I can breath in properly without feeling as though I've got broken ribs.  Who knows, I might even get a shot not from the garden tomorrow....
