A bridge over untroubled water

Sun shone beautifully for us today. We drove through the Trough of Bowman(!) which is a lovely area in southern Lancashire, then over to Mallam. Wandered to the tarn then to the top of the cove, playing on the limsestone pavements, then down into the village. I think it would have been rude to visit the village without visiting a tea room so we had afternoon tea of cake and tea, followed a couple of hours later with a picnic lunch. Note to self - try harder tomorrow.
