Eastbourne

Today was a walk and pub lunch with No1 - belated birthday celebration. Originally we were meeting at Soverign Harbour then driving to the pub but we changed plans and met first at the pub. We had found a lovely circular walk (OH and I had done it once before) which takes in some of the seven sisters and beach head. It is a great walk albeit a bit up and down. The sun was shining and we had a good chat on the way round. JC has spotted some sloes en route so begged a carrier bag from the NT shop at beach head and we picked sloes on the way back. They are making sloe gin to go on the table at the wedding. Back to the pub for lunch which was a bit slow and not that inspiring. We returned to Soverign Harbour for presents and a cup of tea. No1 was tired so snoozed a bit and we left around 7.00 to drive home and they decided on another walk to blow cobwebs away!

Back in Kent for a small plate of
Cheese and a glass of sloe gin which future MIL had bought over in the summer when they stayed - first time I’ve tasted and it’s really nice!
