Porth Chapel
Spent a lovely afternoon in the sunshine at Porth Chapel. What fabulous weather we are having. Summer has arrived. Yay!
When we got home Ann said, 'Molly I'm just nipping next door to vote'. So off she went to the Scout Hut (which is the polling station) in the field right next to our house. This is where Ann has voted for the last ten years. We couldn't have a polling station any closer??!!
Anyway today the polling station people couldn't find Ann on their lists .................. because the boundaries have changed and Ann now has to vote in a polling station miles away.
Ann was very, very mad!!! She said, 'I'm not going to bother voting. I'm going to paint a second coat of paint on the decking and then I'm going to sit and relax with a glass of wine in the sunshine'.
However, when she'd painted the decking she said, 'Molly would you like to go for extras?'
'Extras' mean I'm getting an extra walk so I ran to the front door straight away. It took us 45 mins to walk to the 'far away polling station' and back but we were glad we did because Colin Nicholls was there and that is who Ann is voting for. Colin is one of Ann's friends and we so want him to get elected so that he can become the mayor of St Ives.
Colin does loads for the town so if you haven't already voted - VOTE COLIN NICHOLLS.
